How the project went
From challenge to result
Challenge
The contractor needed a large number of connection plates and flanges at short notice. The parts came in different thicknesses and each one was bolted on site, so hole positions had to be accurate to the millimetre.
Solution
We converted the drawings to DXF, grouped the parts by thickness and nested them economically on the sheets. After laser cutting, samples from each batch were measured, and parts were marked and packed in installation order.
Result
All parts were delivered two days ahead of schedule, and not a single hole needed correcting during installation.
