How the project went
From challenge to result
Challenge
To keep their line running, the client needed strips of set widths every week. The width had to be exact, otherwise the strip jammed in the roll-forming line.
Solution
We set the knives to the client's three profile sizes and produced strips of different widths from each coil in one pass. The small coils were labelled and delivered on a weekly schedule.
Result
The client's profile line ran without interruption, with no stoppages caused by strip width.
